use almond milk instead and forget the sweetner, Now you just took away 13g of sugar/carbs

Just to let you guys know, this recipe still contains a lot of sugar. 8oz of 2% milk contains 13 grams of sugar, & the frozen strawberries have added sugar so for 8 ounces of strawberries have 26 grams of sugar. (which is like drinking a 12 ounce can of regular soda). So this particular recipe isn't sugar free or diabetic friendly at all. Sorry for being a party pooper but since we're all diabetics on this site, just be REAL cautious when making this recipe.

I like to make my strawberry milk with Stevia instead of artificial sweeteners. Stevia (Truvia) does not interfere with your insulin levels. Please remember to read all ingredients on all your foods/drinks. If it has aspertame/succrine, it has major harmful effects on your body and organs.
