Broccoli slaw

Ingredients
  • 1c shredded carrots

  • 2c shredded brocoli slaw

  • 1 red jalapeno seeded and minced

  • 1/2/med red onionthinly sliced

  • 1/4 c cider vinegar

  • 1lime zestedand juiced

  • 1/2 t.kosher salt

  • 2T.sweetner your choice 1.2t.red pepper flakes

  • 1/2t.cracked blacked black pepper

  • 2 T.extra-virgin olive oil

Directions
  1. In large serving bowl,combinethe carrits,broccoli slaw ,jalapeno and red onion.set aside

  2. in small saucepan,add the vinegar,lime zest,lime juice,salt,sweetner,red pepperflakes and Black pepper .Bring to a light boilover low heat remove fromheat and cool for a few minutes. add the olive oil to the vinegar mixture

  3. pourover the vegetablesand toss togeather to combine refrigerate untill

  4. serving good with Bar- b- Q and fish
