Smothered Meat Loaf

  • 4 cups patatoes Obrien (recommendedOre-Ida

  • I pound Lean ground beef

  • 1/4 pound ground pork

  • 1(5.29-ounce) box garlic herb shake and bake 9recommended Kraft)

  • 1(1.1ounce beefy Onion soup mix 9recommendedLipton)

  • 1(4.5 ounce )jar ofsliced mushroomsdrained (recommended green gaint)

  • 1 egg

  • 110 oz can chedder cheese soup

  • 1/2 cup evaporatd milk

  • 1(10ouncecan condensed cream of musroom soup

  • ionion sliced thin

  • 1(8ounce ) package of mushrooms

  1. Place potatoesin bottom of 5 qt.slow cooker

  2. In large bowl combine ground beef,ground pork.shake and bake,onion soupmix,

  3. sliiced mushrooms and egg set aside

  4. In small bowlstir togeather 1/2 c chedder soupand evaporated milk add to meat

  5. mixture.using a wooden spoon or clean hands mix thoroughlyand form into a loafplace in slow cooker on top of potatoes make sure meat loaf does not touch the sides of slow cooker stir togeather remaining chedder soup with cream of mushroom soup pour over meat loaf. top with onions and mushrooms cover and cookon highsetting for one Hr. reduce the temp.

  6. tolow setting cook for additional 5 to six hrs.

i made this dish this past wknd for my family and day asked for 2nd,3rd dishes.. it was a very easy n good dish to make..
