1 small head cabbage
1 lb. ground turkey
1/2 C. brown rice/ uncooked
1 jar low-sodium pasta sauce
1 bag part-skim mozzerella cheese
Chop cabbage into quarters then shred to the consistency of cole slaw. Layer half the cabbage into the bottom of a 13X9 baking pan.
Fry ground turkey until completely done. Drain off excess fat. Add in uncooked rice and mix together. Layer ground turkey mixture on top of cabbage layer. Put remaining cabbage on top and cover with pasta sauce. Bake in 375 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Add water occasionally to prevent burning. Remove from oven and top with cheese. Bake and additional 10 minutes until cheese melts.
