OAT MEAL BISCUITS

Ingredients
  • 2 cups oat meal

  • 1 mid size apple , grated

  • 4 dried figs , diced into 8 pcs each

  • 5 dried appricots , diced into 8 pcs each

  • almonds , chopped

  • 1/3 tea spoon cinnamon

  • 1/3 cup apple juice ( I have melted 2 dessert spoon of jam in 1/3 cup water.Even milk can be used)

  • 1 table spoon olive oil

Directions
  1. mix all the ingredients in a bowl with hands and then spread the dough in a non-stick tray by pressing with your hands. Pu 350 F preheated oven.Cooking time is apprx 20-25 min.

I hope to try this when I get some dried fruits. It would make a nice snack for coffee or tea or bedtime inplace of PB and cracker. I am one of those that doc said I has to eat small amt 6 times a day and this will fit under the 200 cal required. Thanks for the addition Birdy
