cinnamon rolls

  • 1 Tbsp packed light brown sugar>1 tbsp brown sugar>1/2 cup warm water(105-115 degrees F>1 pkg(2 1/4t)active dry yeast>3/4 cup warm fat free skm milk>4 cups all purpose flour>1 large egg beaten.1/4c granulated sugar>2 Tbs canola oil> salt 1t. Icing 1/2c powdered sugar>1Tbsp reduced fat frr brick cream cheese>1tsp vanilla extract>1tsp water.

  1. preheat oven to400,spray 10x13 nch baking dish with non stick spray.(2)In small bowl combine brown sugar and cinnamon and set aside.(3)combine warm water and yeast and in a large mixing bowl and let stand until yeast is disolved (about 5 minutes)(4)stir into the yeast mixture.Add 1 cup of flour,egg,sugar,oil,and salt.Stir until well blended.Add remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time until dough becomes very stiff.(5)Turn dough out onto a lightly floured work surface and knead until smooth and elastic.(about 10 minutes.)(6)Roll the dough out into a 12x18 inch rectangle sprinkle evenly with cinnamon brown sugar mixture.Starting on 1 long side roll up dough as you would a jelly roll cut into 16 slices.(7)Place roll cut side up,slightly apart in prepared dish cover with plastic wrap and let rise in warm place until doubled in volume(about 1 hour). (8)Bake 12-15 minutes or until browned. Invert pan onto prepared plarre and let cool .(9)In a small bowl combine powdere sugar,cream cheese,vanilla,and water stir until creamy and spread evenly over warm rolls.

umm,hi…not tht i no/but am i 2 spose 2tsps cinnamon with th flour&1tsp in the icing…?(these r 2 gd&safeway's a block away&if i eat 1 srving,tht's quite2far_;)

Made on switch to increase fiber. 2cups organic unbleached flour, 1 1\2 cups graham whole wheat flour plus 1\2 cup ground flax seed. The rolls were a little dense, still full of flavor.
