3 Seeded Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients
  • cooking sprsy.1/2tsp each of mustard,fennel and cumin seed,2cups fresh brussel sprouts halved, 1/3 chicken brorth or vegetable broth,2 tsp fresh ginger root,grated,1/4tsp salt,1/4 tsp ground red pepper(cayenne)(or 1 dried Thai chili pepper,crushed)1/2 oz.cashew raw chopped equal to 1 tbsp(or peanuts),2tbsp red or sherry wine vinegar

Directions
  1. coat a sauce panwith cooking spray.Heat sauce pan over medium heat,add mustard,fennel and cumin seeds;cook and stir for30 seconds.add brussel sprouts broth,ginger,salt and crushed red pepper.. Bring to boil andreduce heat . simmer10-12 min.or until sprouts are tender.Stir occasionally.Stir in nuts and vinegar
