Asparagus With A warm Vinaigrette

  • 24 freshasparagus spears cut into thirds, 1/4cup fat free Italian dressing 1 Tbs chopped fresh flat-parsley leaves,2tsp chopped fresh oregano,leaves, 1chopped fresh thyme leaves,1/4 freshly ground black pepper,1 Tbs sliced almonds

  1. (1)Place asparagus in a large skillet, cover with water and bring to simmer on high. Cook until tender crisp,no more than2 minutes.Drain in a colender,then refresh under cold running water.(2)return the skillet to mediem heat,add dressing and until warmed, about 30 seconds.Return the asparagus to the pan and toss well with the dressing. Stir in the parsley,oregano,thyme,pepper,and almonds Heat 10 seconds befoe serving.
