Turkey Loaf

  • 1/2 cup ketchup or chili sauce,2 large eggs or1/2 cupegg substitute, 1/2 cup finely chopped onion,1/3 cup uncooked oatmeal,1/4cup chopped fresh or 1Tbsdried parsley,2tspchoppedfresh or3/4 tsp dried oregano,1/2 tsp salt,1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper, 2pounds,lean freshly ground turkey,without skin.

  1. Preheat oven to325 f preparea 5x9-inch loaf pan with non stick pan spray.Combine allingredients except turkey in a large mixing bowl.Add turkey andmix until wellblended.Place the turkey mixture in prepared pan and shape into a loaf. Bake for 1 hour or untilmeat thermometer registers160-165 degrees f.All the loaf to cool 5-10 minutes before cutting into 1/2 inche slices.
