2 (8oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (1oz.) package Ranch-style dressing mix
2 cups chopped pecans
4 pecans halves
In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, and dressing mix. Form into one large ball or 2 smaller balls. Roll in chopped pecans to coat surface. Decorate the top with pecan halves.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
If you make into 32 small balls then put one pecan half on each ball and place on crackers of your choice when ready to serve.
