BROWN RICE ( PILAF)

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of brown rice

  • 1 pc onion

  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 1/5 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1/5 teaspoon of allspice

  • 2 cups of water

Directions
  1. 1) Peel the onion and cut into very small pieces

  2. 2) Pu the onions in to a pot and add the oil

  3. 3) Cook untill onion gets a bit soften

  4. 4) Add the washed rice in to the pot and roast for 5 min by keeping stiring

  5. 5) Add cinnamon & allspice and stir

  6. 6) Add water

  7. 7) Reduce the temperature as soon as boiling starts

  8. 8) Wait untill the rice absorb the whole water

  9. 9) Turn off the cooker

  10. 10) Put a few plies of tissues between the pot and the cover ( tissue will absorb the steam in the pot)

  11. 11) Wait for 15 min and ready to eat
