Protein Pancake (with blueberries)
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Carbquik Lo-Carb Bake mix

  • 1 cup Designer Whey Protein Powder

  • 4 tbsp Hodgson Mill Flax Seed (instead of butter)

  • 4 tbsp Sugar Free EZ Fiber

  • pinch of salt

  • pinch of Splenda

  • 1/2 tbsp Baking Powder

  • 1 egg (egg substitute)

  • 2 cup 8th Continent Light Soy Milk

  • Cooking spray

  • Optional:

  • 1 cup Blueberry

  • 1 tbsp Smucker's Sugar Free Blueberry Preserves

Directions
  1. Mix all dry ingredients together, then add the egg and the milk. Mix well. Heat a medium skillet and spray with cooking spray. Add batter ( usually i add the blueberries at that point)and cook until light brown, turn over and cook it trough. Serve with sugar free preserves.

the company name who makes it is Tova Industries. this web site offers a variety low carb food and supplement. I'm a customer since '05, and really happy with their service.

I would love to try these, but never heard of Carbquick Lo-Carb baking mix…who makes this or must this be purchased through a health food store?…thanks.
