Mmmm Asparagus

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon adobo

  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, lightly toasted

  1. Saute the garlic, adobo and asparagus until it is until tender-crisp, about 5 minutes. (If the asparagus is very thick, first steam the asparagus for a few minutes until it is almost done).

  2. Add sesame seeds and serve!

Add a little sea salt and this is heaven! I eat fresh asparagus when it is in season almost everyday. Put it in an omelette for breakfast, mix it with a salad or just steam it for lunch, roast it, grill it, steam it or toss it with other veggies…I LOVE the stuff. Thanks for another goodie Zakia.
