Egyptian - Baked Fish with Orange Cilantro Sauce

  • Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 pounds halibut or other firm fish steaks

  • 1/4 cup sliced onion

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • 1/3 cup orange juice

  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

  1. Directions:

  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Arrange fish in shallow baking pan. In non-stick skillet, saute onion and garlic in oil until soft. Add Pepper. Stir in orange juice and pour over fish.

  3. Bake, covered, in preheated oven 20 to 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork. Sprinkle cilantro on top. Recipe makes four servings of Baked Fish with Orange Cilantro Sauce.
