Gollash with meat/ fillo pastry

  • • 1 pack gollash ,fillo pastry.

  • • Minced meat .

  • • Vegetable oil.

  • • 1 cup milk.

  • • 1 onion.

  • • 1 tablespoon butter or ghee.

  • • 1 egg.

  • • Parsley .

  • • Salt and pepper.

  2. Preparing minced meat filling

  3. • In a pan heat oil over medium-high heat.

  4. • Add onion and stir until yellow.

  5. • Add meat, salt and pepper and stir.

  6. • Cover pan and leave to cook.

  7. • Add parsley and stir remove and set aside.

  8. Preparing gollash

  9. • Brush bottom of a baking dish with butter or ghee.

  10. • Take half of gollash pack.

  11. • Put slices of gollash layering on top of each other until you finish half the quantity.

  12. • Put meat mix on top of gollash layers in the baking dish.

  13. • With the other half of gollash slices making a set of layers on top of meat.

  14. • Brush last slice with oil.

  15. • Press on slices with your hand so that they stick together, cut gollash into squares.

  16. • Heat oven to high heat.

  17. • Mix milk with beaten egg and pour over gollash in baking dish.

  18. • Place in oven until surface is golden brown.

  19. • Serve immediately.
