Easy Salsa

  • 1 (14.5oz) can of diced tomatoes

  • 1/8 - 1/4 cup chopped onion (to your liking of onion…red or white..red is best)

  • few drops of tobasco sauce

  • dried herbs of: cumin & cilantro

  • pinch of salt

  1. Open can of tomatoes, pour in bowl. Add rest of the ingredients and stir. Cover bowl and refrigerate for about an hour. The longer it sets, the more the herbs set off their tastes.

  2. Enjoy with the proper amount of your favorite chip.

1/2 cup has 5 g of carbs
13 of the white tortilla chips I use has 18 g. of carbs
which is right over my 15 g. of carbs I'm allowed for a snack.
