JAPANESE CROCKPOT LAMB

By Avera

JAPANESE CROCKPOT LAMB
Ingredients
  • 2 lb Lamb

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp Honey

  • 2 tbsp Vinegar

  • 2 tbsp Sherry

  • 2 Garlic clove — crushed

  • 1/4 tsp Ginger — ground

  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock — optional

Directions
  1. Put all ingredients in crockpot and cook all day on LOW.

  2. Calories per serving: 248 Sylvia's comments: I converted this from a marinate-and-broil recipe that required better meat.

  3. This worked great on cheap stew lamb; it actually took away the strong lamb taste. I defatted the crockpot juices, thickened with cornstarch, and used it on green beans. That with the lamb and some yellow rice made a great dinner.

This sounds great, even better that it can be made in the crockpot. I work 12 up to 16 hrs on night shift and the crockpot has saved my life several times, very convenient…thanks.
