  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 jar pasta sauce — Classico Spicy Red P

  • 4 med zucchini

  • 4 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 cl minced garlic

  • Shredded parmesan cheese — (to taste)

  • Salt/pepper/whatever spice to taste

  1. Brown ground beef thoroughly. Add pasta sauce and simmer. Wash zucchini and Shred. Heat skillet and add spices and garlic. Sauté for a few minutes. Add shredded zucchini and sauté for approx. 5 minutes until tender. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and stir. Serve the pasta sauce/hamburger combination over the zucchini - YUMMY!

You can also use spaghetti squash for this recipe instead of zucchini - just scrape out the inside of a freshly steamed or baked spaghetti squash and put the sauce on that!

This sounds like it would be a gook alternative for spaghetti. I'm going to try this.Let you know as soon as I can.Thanks—-I've been looking for something to replace spaghetti.
