Pear Crisp

  • Topping

  • 1/4 cup Splenda Granular Sweetener

  • 3 Graham Crackers

  • 1/4 cup Light Butter

  • 2 Tbsp. Flour

  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon

  • Filling

  • 3 cups Peeled and Sliced Bartlett Pears

  • 2 Tbsp. Flour

  • 1/4 cup Splenda Granular

  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

  • 3 Tbsp. Water

  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Spray an 8x8" baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside. Place all topping ingredients in a food processor. Blend until crumbly. Set aside. Toss together all filling ingredients. Place in prepared baking pan. Cover with topping. Bake in preheated oven 40-45 minutes or until bubbly around the edges.

What a wonderful way to fix a dessert using Pears! They are one of my favorite fruits. It is always nice to have a new recipe using them as the main ingredient. It is also nice and low carb and even gives a little protein for a good healthy combo.
