this refreshing slushy is great for cooling off on a hot summer day.

Peachy Apricot Slush
Ingredients
  • 5 1/2 ounces apricot nectar

  • 2 medium peaches

  • 1 1/2 cups ice cubes

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 1/2 cups water, carbonated

  • raspberries

  • orange peel

Directions
  1. In a blender, combine apricot nectar, peaches, crushed ice, and lemon or lime juice. Cover and blend until smooth.

  2. Spoon fruit mixture into tall, chilled glasses; top with carbonated water. If desired, garnish drinks by threading fresh raspberries on wooden skewers; wrap orange peel curls around skewers. Place skewers in drinks.

I heartily agree with tmana. This recipe implies that you can consume a great deal of fruit and ingest only 10 carbs. That is misleading, and downrighjt dangerous. It needs to me updated to indicate the number of servings.

Made this last PM for the steeler game. Did not add the fancy skewers though. My crew was inpressed with the drink and gulp them up like in 4 mins. I will make this for the holidays too…Debe
