Pineapple Waldorf Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple tidbits (in its own juice), drained

  • 1 jumbo apple, cored and cut into bite-size chunks

  • 1/2 c. walnut pieces

  • 1 c. halved red grapes

  • 1 container (6 oz) light lemon or lemon chiffon yogurt

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine pineapple, apple, walnuts and grapes.

  2. In a separate bowl, stir together yogurt, honey, vanilla and cinnamon.

  3. Pour yogurt mixture over fruit mixture. Stir gently to coat.

  4. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving.

I love this receipe ——-I use Agave instead of the honey—-it is better for diabetics—metabolizes better and tastes better than honey.

I just made a pasta salad that has pineapple, apples, tangerine slices(canned), walnuts, and celery, and grapes. Instead of celery I used chopped zuchini and light color sweet peppers (white and light green which I had never used before). I love the sound of the featured recipe. As soon as I saw Waldorf, it grabbed me. Thank you

Does anyone know the serving size of the 1 serving because i know for a fact that the carbs are more than 13 grams in this dish.
