Pineapple-Orange Jell-O

  • 20 oz Pineapple, crushed, with juice, canned , undrained

  • 6 oz Gelatin, reduced calorie, with aspartame, dry mix

  • 2 cup low fat buttermilk

  • 12 oz frozen low fat whipped topping , thawed

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

  1. Put the pineapple in a saucepan and cook for about 1 minute over medium heat.

  2. Mix in the gelatin until it completely dissolves. Turn the heat off.

  3. Add the buttermilk.

  4. Fold in the whipped topping and pecans.

  5. Transfer the mixture to a 13 X 9-inch baking dish.

  6. Refrigerate, covered, for 2 to 3 hours.

This sounds really different. havent ever made jello with milk, but will give it a try. I am persuming the SF is orange since it is called pineapple -orange…Debe

I keep the powder buttermilk on hand so I used that instead. This is so easy to make and really good too!

This is really going to be good. It is fun to have something this unique to try. By the way,,,I love Pineapple.
