Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey breast

  • 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs

  • 1/4 cup (1 oz) grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup minced onion

  • 2 tablespoons skim milk

  • 1 egg white. lightly beaten

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

  • 6 hamburger buns, heated

Directions
  1. Combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, cheese, onion, skim milk and egg white in a bowl and mix well. Shape the turkey mixture evenly into six patties. Arange the patties on a baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.

  2. Heat the canola oil in a large skillet and add the turky patties. Cook for approximately 5 minutes per side or until cooked through, turning once. Arrange one turkey patty on each bun and dress with lettuce, tomato and pickles. if desired.
