Banana Pops

Ingredients
  • 2 Bananas, cut crosswise into halves

  • 1/4 cup crisp rice cereal

  • 1 tablespoon toasted shredded coconut

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped peanuts

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 2 teaspoons light corn syrup

Directions
  1. Insert a wooden popsicle stick in the cut end of each banana half and arrange on a baking sheet. Freeze for 1 hour or until firm.

  2. Combine the cereal, coconut, peanuts and nutmeg in a shallow dish and mix well. Brush the banans with the syrup and coat with the cereal mixture. Wrap the coated bananas individually in plastic wrap and freeze for 2 hours or longer.
