Garlic Mustard Steak

Ingredients
  • 1 1# beef flank steak

  • kosher salt (Optional)

  • coursely ground black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon-styled mustard

  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram or thyme, crushed

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced1/4 teaspoon coursely ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Score both sides of steak in a diamond pattern by making sallow diagonalcuts 1" intervals. Season steak with kosher salt and pepper. in a small bowl combine mustard, worcestershire sauce, marjoram,garlic and the 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Brush both sides of steak with mustard mixture.

  2. Place meat on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 15 to 18 minutes or until medium doneness(160F), turning once halfway through broiling. Thinley slice meat diagonally across the grain.

Both low calorie and low carb which makes it well worth trying. BUT,,,your recipes alwasys have some of the very best herbs. This one does too.
