Sugar and Spice Popcorn

  • 1 cooking spray

  • 6 cup Popcorn, air popped , using no oil

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tsp water

  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/8 tsp ground ginger

  1. Spray a non stick 13x9x2 cooking pan, and place the popcorn in the pan.

  2. Stir together sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger in a small bowl. Drizzle over the popcorn the spice mixture. To coat toss gently. Bake for 15 minutes in a 350 degree F oven, stirring once or twice.

  3. Take a large piece of foil and transfer hot popcorn onto it. Cool popcorn completely before serving.

This will make a good low carb snack. Adding the sugar and spice is a great idea for something different and good.
