Turkey Loaf

Ingredients
  • 1 eggs , lightly beaten

  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs (or Italian style)

  • 1 tbsp fresh basil (or 1 tsp dried)

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (or 2 tsp dried)

  • 1 tsp dijon mustard

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning (or sage)

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped onion

  • 1 tbsp Yogurt, plain, low fat, 12g prot/8oz

  • 2 tsp dijon mustard

Directions
  1. Combine egg, bread crumbs, and seasonings in a bowl.

  2. Add turkey and onion, mix well.

  3. Press evenly into ungreased 8" x 5" loaf pan.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes or until done.

  5. Mix sauce ingredients and spread over loaf top before serving.

Thanks for sharing. I make this often but without the sage and yogurt. I will add this in the future.
