Walnut Chicken

  • 3/4 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 tsp cooking sherry

  • 1 egg whites

  • 2 tsp peanut oil

  • 1/8 tsp Oil, sesame (optional)

  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts , ground

  • 1 cooking spray

  1. Directions

  2. Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle them them with sherry, then set aside.

  3. Beat the egg white and oils in a small bowl until frothy. Fold the chicken pieces into the egg mixture, then roll them, individually, in ground walnuts.

  4. Next, arrange the chicken pieces on a baking sheet treated with nonstick cooking spray, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the walnuts are lightly browned and the chicken juices run clear.
