Easy Cheesy Squares

  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/3 medium onions , grated, juice reserved

  • 1 lb Bread, rye, snack slice

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Place the Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, onion and reserved onion juice in a blender or food processor. Blend thoroughly.

  3. Spread the mixture evenly on slices of cocktail rye bread.

  4. Place cocktail rye bread slices on a large baking sheet.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven 10 minutes, or until lightly toasted.

I've decided that when I make these, I'll eat them all at the same time. I have figured it out. If I eat all 15, I will still only be getting 19.5 carbs. Now I know if I eat all 15 I will also be getting way too many calories, 780 to be exact. BUT,,,if I eat an early lunch say around 11:30 am and eat nothing else, I'll have all the rest of the day to work those calories off. lol Do you think I should give it a try?
