Roasted Broccoli with lemon

Ingredients
  • 4 cups of broccoli florets

  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

  • lemon wedges

Directions
  1. Preheat oven at 450 degrees.

  2. Toss broccoli with oil, salt and pepper.

  3. Place on a large baking sheet and roast until broccoli is tender and blacken on bottom, 10-12 minutes.

  4. Serve immediately, with lemon wedges.

OMG! I just tried this and it was fantastic! I only have to cook for me so it was easy to do in the toaster oven. I'll know to cook a much larger batch next time.
