Cauliflower Salad

To all you veggie lovers,try something new today.Plan ahead…needs to chill.

  • 1 medium head cauliflower broken into florets and sliced

  • 1 package(16ozs) frozen french-style green beans,thawed(you can use fresh green beans instead of frozen)

  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms,sliced

  • 1 large red onion,sliced and separated into rings

  • 1 teaspoon dreid basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 bottle (8ozs) reduced fat Italian salad dressing.

  1. In a large bowl,combine the first six ingredients.Add dressing and toss to coat.Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Yes you can ,I know some people like it raw,for me I let it simmer in a pot with a little water before I make the salad,it's more edible.

I just want to know before you make this, is the cauliflower raw or do you blanch this for a few minutes first. I want to make this. It sounds sooo good. Thanks…Debe
