BERRY VINEGAR

Ingredients
  • 4 cup vinegar

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 2 cup fresh strawberries (and/or raspberries, blueberries)

  • 3 medium garlic cloves , peeled & split

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat, cover tightly and let "steep" for 2 days.

  2. Strain through cheesecloth or fine sieve into containers with tight-fitting lids. Store in a cool place. Yield 1 quart (64 Tablespoons).
