Dude Ranch Soup

  • 2 pounds round steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 15.5-ounce can kidney beans, drained

  • 1 4-ounce can chopped green chilies

  • 3 celery stalks, finely chopped

  • 1 14.5-ounce can beef broth

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp adobo seasoning

  • 1 cube beef bouillon

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 3 tbsp dried minced onions

  • 1 c reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Add all ingredients except the cheese to the slow cooker crock and mix well. Cover and cook on low for 7.5 hours. Stir in cheddar cheese and cook 1/2 hour more.

  2. Makes 6 Servings.

i've made this recipe several times. i recommend adding a can of diced tomatoes for chili and cutting up a few serrano peppers to put in it.

The servings got to be wrong l serving with all that ingredients? Sounds great but would be nice to have the serving size listed! Thank-you for the recipe!
