Tomato Herb Toast

Ingredients
  • 4 piece Bread, white, reduced calorie, slice

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2 fresh plum tomatoes , chopped

  • 1/2 tsp dried basil

  • 1 pinch salt and pepper , to taste

  • 1/2 cup Cheese, cheddar, mild, reduced fat, finely shredded

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Brush top side of bread with oil. Place on baking sheet and bake 6 to 8 minutes or until toasted.

  3. Combine tomato and basil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spoon onto bread slices. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 3 to 4 minutes to melt cheese. Cut into triangles.
