Beer Marinated Shrimp

Ingredients
  • 12 floz beer

  • 1/4 tsp hot red pepper flakes

  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard

  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice

  • 2 fresh green onions , chopped

  • 1/4 tsp paprika, sweet, Hungarian

  • 1/2 lb large raw shrimp , peeled and deveined

Directions
  1. In a bowl, mix the beer, hot pepper flakes, mustard, lime, green onions, and paprika.

  2. Add the shrimp. Cover bowl and refrigerate in marinade for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally.

  3. Preheat broiler to 450 degrees F. Spray nonstick cooking spray on a broiler pan.

  4. Thread shrimp equally amongst 4 skewers and place on broiler pan. Save marinade.

  5. Cook 7-10 minutes, turning at least once. If shrimp start to dry out, brush with left-over marinade.
