Country Peach Tart

By sexyswamprat

A bit of pastry is a treat for breakfast or a lazy weekend brunch. Fresh or frozen peaches yield delectable results.

Country Peach Tart
  • 1/4 Pastry for single-crust 9-inch pie

  • 1 Tablespoon flour

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Equal® for RecipiesTM or 8 packets Equal® sweetener or 1/3 cups Equal® SpoonfulTM

  • 4 cups sliced, pitted, peeled fresh peaches (about 4 medium), or or frozen peaches

  • Ground nutmeg

  1. Roll pastry on floured surface into 12-inch circle; transfer to ungreased cookie sheet. Combine flour and Equal®; sprinkle over peaches and toss. Arrang peaches on pastry, leaving a 2-inch border around edge of pastry. Sprinkle peaches lightly with nutmeg. Fold edge of pastry in.

  2. Bake tart in preheated 425 degree F oven until crust is browned and fruit is tender, 25 to 30 minutes

Yes in fruit juice for winter time but I like to mix fresh peaches and mango in it. I use organic coconut sugar and almond flour in it instead of equal.
