Apple Pie Delight

Ingredients
  • Pastry for 9 inch two-crust pie

  • 2 Tablespoons Equal® Measure™ or 20 packets of Equal®

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • dash salt

  • 6 cups thinly sliced pared tart apples (4 to 6 Granny Smiths)

  • 1 Tablespoon margarine

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425° F. In a mixing bowl combine Equal® Measure™, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt. Add dry mixture to apples; toss gently to coat fruit. Fill a pastry-line 9-inch pie plate with apple mixture; dot with margarine. Cover with top crust that has slits cut in it; seal and flute edge. Bake 15 minutes at 425°F; turn oven down to 350°F and bake an additional 30 minutes.
