I really enjoyed this video. Dr. Bihari is a good speaker. I watched it at a good time. I've started eating too much again & I would like to start losing again. His positive attitude kind of gave me nudge.

I am new here as a caregiver for someone I love, and it can be very irritating at times trying to make sure he keeps his sugar levels under control, and carb counting is all new to me, but I believe we will conquer this crazy disease. I found this video quite helpful in furthering the belief that this too shall pass.

I love to cook and I feel like that has really been taken away from me but I understand exactly where he is coming from. I need to learn all I can and keep moving forward.

I think because sometimes it is just exhausting. You can't let your gaurd down and have a binge weekend. Not without concequences we don't want. You can't skip the exercise for too long or you are back to square one...That is why it has to become a lifestyle, not a fix. That is a hard thing to learn.

We all seem to have the same thing in common, We try to exercise, eat right etc, then we seem to get complacentand fall back into the same old routine.Depression always seems to linger in the background. The question how do we stay with it? when we feel good ,when we are losing weight, why do we lose interest and fall back?
