Hundred PushUps Smartphone App

The Hundred PushUps app by SoftwareX (available for $0.99) is a very simple program that can be done anywhere. You begin by seeing how many push-ups you can do consecutively without resting. After you record that number in the app, it automatically puts together a six-week progressive program. In about 30 minutes a week, you'll progress to being able to do 100 push-ups by week 6. It graphs your progress so you can see how you have improved. Some of the benefits include: strength and tone in the chest, bicep, triceps, shoulders and upper back and increased overall strength to perform daily routines. ACSM recommends that diabetics perform strength training 2-3 days a week as part of their regular exercise routine.
