Hi, Is it ok to drink a hot chocolate that contain 6g cocoa,16g blossom coconut sugar & 6g coconut cream powder? Is it to rich for a diabetic? Thanks!

You can certainly drink this hot chocolate, but as with any food or beverage, you need to be sure you take into account the carbohydrate content. Coconut palm sugar provides 4 grams of carb and 15 calories per tablespoon, compared to 12 grams of carb and 46 calories per tablespoon of regular sugar. So there is likely less carbohydrate in this version of hot chocolate compared to a “regular” version, although you also have to consider other ingredients that may provide carb too, like milk. Hopefully there is a Nutrition Facts label on this product which will tell you the number of calories, carb and fat grams per serving.
