I care for my 78 yr. old mother who has been on metformin for over 10 years. Approx. a year and half ago her doctor added gluboride to her script and she has complained it makes her dizzy -- but he has not changed it. She claims she felt better on the metformin alone. Also she has lost 25 pounds over the 10 years and the doctor has not changed her dose. She is told her blood is "good" each time she sees her doctor (every 3 months). Can the metformin and gluboride together making her dizzy?
