Hi, I'm a type 1 diabetic with PCOS and for a very long time have tried to convince my endocronologist that I have insulin resistance and I should try metformin as a result. After almost 3 years she gave in and I have been on it for 3 months. I can't even begin to describe how much better i feel as a whole and not having high to low fluctuations as I used to. I have not heard any other type 1's going on metformin, but I have heard that a lot of type 1's have insulin resistance. Is this true?
