I'm a 70\30 insulin and i was wondering if I should be taking anything else with it?
It depends on whether you have type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes can only be treated with insulin; type 2 diabetes can be treated with pills and/or insulin. If you have type 2 diabetes, then you will want to ask your primary care provider if there are any pills that might help your diabetes. We don’t recommend any particular supplements for people with diabetes other than a daily vitamin. If you are over 50 you may also want to ask your doctor whether a low dose aspirin a day is recommended.
