Was diagnosed with type 2 last December. Have lost 35 pounds since then going with a low carb diabetic diet and doing a lot of cardio workouts. Have noticed the recovery time after the workouts seems to be taking longer and longer. Muscles are staying sore longer and legs feel like limp noodles. Was told I need more complex carbs after the workout but dont want to spike my blood sugar. Any suggestions?
