Over the past 9 months my A1c has been improving. But the numbers on my meter are not. They are running too high mostly in the 200s. I take insulin and increasing it does not seem to make a change. Even my diet does not greatly affect the numbers (unless of course I eat something really high in sugar). I have taken both Byetta and Victoze and results are the same. Why does the medication not seem to work and what can I do about it?
