Usually at 7:15 AM i check my sugars and they are below 100. I have noticed when I get up at 4:00 AM and become active (go to the grocery store, do things around the house and when I check my sugars at 7:15 AM I get readings in the 200's. If I don't become active and sit in the recliner and read or watch TV my sugars are 100 or less. I also have a prolapse bladder which causes me to get up 3 or 4 times a night but I still have good numbers at 7:15 AM when I give myself my shot. What is it about being active early in the morning gives me such high sugars. When I get up at 4:00 AM and sit and read or watch TV I don't have the problem. I have been diabetic since 1992 and this problem has only come up iin the last 3 months.
