Hi...I was just diagnosed type 2 about 2 1/2 mos ago...I cut down drastically on my carbs...no pasta or rice..no refined sugar...and wasn't getting the results I wanted with my glucose readings...sometimes going over 180..after doing a little research I decided to change my goal to under 140 for my 2 hour post meal checks..I cut out bread and now get all my carbs from veggies..I still go over 140 occasionally and am not happy..I take metformin and donot want to add meds..suggestions please..
