Q:

I was diagnosed Type 1 at 32 in 2008. I am now 36, A1C of 6.5, on pump therapy and CGMS, and I want to have a baby. My doctor recently (last Friday) mentioned that my thyroid may become an issue (my level is .02 away from being considered high). Will this possible third strike take me out of the pregnancy game completely or with careful planning is it possible for me to carry a baby to term?
