Q:

Last August, while in the hospital for surgery, I was diagnosed with T2 diabetes. They put me on insulin straight away and sent me home with insulin prescriptions. I have been counting carbs and my bs readings have responded well. My readings now are mostly under 120, but I would really like to get under 100. Does the body have a set point that is normal for the individual? I will occasionally get readings in the high 80s or low 90s, but then go back to 100+.
