My husband is the one who has just been diagnosed wih type 2 diabetes. I've never had to make a meal plan...just grabbed stuff that the kids and us liked to eat. Now I'm having to "plan" meals for him, not a big thing, just want the right things. He has lost weight, I've never seen him this thin and we've been married for 33 years! I know the meals need to be healthy, low carb, low sugar...but where do I start? Haven't seen a dietitian yet...want go with him when he goes.
